My first big production shoot in 2018, when I wasn't used to working with models on locations, was specifically for a book cover. The publisher used stock photos to recreate the concept--but I still saved my images from the shoot.

A different publisher picked up the series, and my photos have been used on all four covers so far. My favorite cover, from that shoot, is the second in the series. "Hunting the Saturday Night Strangler" by C. M. Wendelboe, previously published in 2018 by Midnight Ink, was acquired and published in 2020 by Encircle Publications. The "Bitter Wind Mystery" series features a retired Denver homicide detective who returns to his childhood home to team up with a local TV reporter to solve serial killer cases in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

"Hunting the Saturday Night Strangler 1" is the book cover and "Hunting the Saturday Night Strangler 2" was an alternate submission to the publisher. Anna Emmons was my model.
